It's been awhile since I've brought you guys anything from the Roger Clyne's Turbo Ocho series, and this Arizona heat is just screaming for some Peacemakers.
I've really been loving the Melbourne band Winterpark lately. This video for "Never Alone" is really stunning (directed by Genevieve Bailey). Check it out:
I fell in love with Blitzen Trapper last year at SXSW. Hailing from Portland, this Country-Electro group puts on a seriously fantastic show. Check out this rendition of "Country Caravan" from They Shoot Music.
I just discovered this great music video blog, They Shoot Music-Don't They, which features indie musicians and artists. This particular shoot features the band Seabear and their song "I Sing I Swim," as the group walks through the streets of Vienna.
Here's a lovely little video from last year's Portable Film Festival. "Stop Signs" is a music video for the Swedish indie folk group The Oklahoma Trio. Directed by Genevieve Baily, it was shot at Strahov in Prauge-the world's largest abandoned sports stadium.
It's a simple song and a pretty simple video, but I really enjoy the hopeful melancholy of it all.
Today I'm bringing you a pretty moving music video.
A collaboration between musicians BlackDogHat and photographer Alexandros M, Angels of Us documents the riots in Athens after the death of Alexandros Grigoropoulos. The photography is pretty stunning.
