Check out Woodward and their track Strange Fascination...from the Album ...but Your Kids are Gonna Love It.

They sort of remind me of a mix between the Ramones and a less-adenoidal Weezer.
Woodward will be playing in Pontiac, Michigan tonight at The Pike Room.

So I just wrote about
Slightly Stoopid...and the fact that I had never seen them live.
Well I'm in luck. Slightly Stoopid is coming to Tempe on March 17th. They'll be playing at Tempe Town Lake. (I've never seen a show there...but I here it's got pretty decent accoustics.)
If you're in the area and can make it out...it should be a pretty fantastic time. See ya there!

It's officially official. SXSW has announced their
Music Festival Showcases.
I'll be at the Auditorum Shores for most of my trip...catching acts like Jambo, Biscuit Brothers, and Explosions in the Sky...but I'm hoping to make it to a few of my favorites as well.
...Like
The Gay Blades. I got a chance to see them here in Phoenix at
Modified Arts (a great venue for underground acts) awhile back. I have to be honest when I say that I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be a fantastic show. This trash rock duo really knows how to entertain...and they aren't bad to look at either.
They'll be showcasing on Wednesday, March 18th at the Dirty Dog Bar at 12:15 a.m. Check em out.

Yesterday, for Unsigned's debut post, I posted a video of Nick Motil,
Live at the Black Box.
Tonight, Motil will be playing at Rockhurst Universtiy in Kansas City, Missouri at Massman Patio. The show starts at 9 p.m. Not in the Kansas City area? Check out more of Nick Motil's tour dates

In the mean time, take a listen to one of my favorite tracks, Perfectly Connected:
