Lee Dewyze: All Right

For some reason, I was a bit skeptical to put this guy's tracks in my earbuds, but I was literally floored from the first moment of Lee Dewyze's "All Right."
Dewyze transcends the notion of genre, inhabiting a space of soundscape somewhere between folk, emo, pop, rock, alternative, and jazz. He cunningly uses that space to pul listeners in different directions so that each person can connect with his music on a personal level.
He notes, "I want a connection with my audience in the sense that any song I do reminds them of a specific moment in their lives-not mine...I want listeners to say 'Wow, he was there when that happened to me'...It's comforting to share my experiences and know that all the vivid, raw emotions that I felt are universal to all of us as human beings."
This is soulful stuff, and I can certainly attest to the fact that it's universal. Check out one of my favorites, "All Right:"
